Situation Update

As of Monday, December 21, 2020 12:47 PM AKST

Director statement regarding reporting for duty:
Alaska’s record-breaking number of COVID-19 cases during the past month coupled with a significant increase in patients with COVID-19 requiring hospitalization are raising concerns about the health and well-being of Alaskan Veterans and our health systems’ capacity to treat them. That’s why we strongly encourage all Veterans to follow the guidelines that Governor Dunleavy established this week to stop the spread of the coronavirus. More details to come. Thank you.
